Privacy policy

This policy applies to the Namaz Manager mobile application and the Namaz Manager account and synchronization service. It does not cover websites or services operated independently by third parties.

If you create an account, we process your email address, account identifier, password credential in hashed form, and secure-session records.

If you enable account synchronization, the service can store prayer and Qaza records, notification preferences, and Quran study information such as bookmarks, reading positions, notes, highlights, reader settings, goals, reading events, and Khatam plans. This information may reveal religious practice and should be treated as sensitive.

Our infrastructure also processes ordinary network and operational information, such as IP address, request time, requested service path, app or service version, response status, and error information, for security and reliability.

Prayer-time and Qibla coordinates, compass readings, local notification schedules, downloaded or bundled content, alarm settings, and device preferences remain on your device unless a feature clearly says otherwise.

Location is requested only while you use a relevant feature. Namaz Manager does not request background location and does not send prayer-time or Qibla coordinates to the Namaz Manager account service.

• To provide backup and synchronization requested by signed-in users.
• To operate, protect, diagnose, and improve service reliability.
• To respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.
• To meet legal obligations and prevent misuse.

We use infrastructure providers to host the Namaz Manager API, PostgreSQL database, encrypted transport, operational logs, backups, and this legal website. These providers process information only to provide their contracted services. The current production provider list and locations will be recorded before public launch.

We do not sell personal information. The app does not include advertising, behavioral analytics, session replay, or an enabled third-party crash-reporting SDK. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users, the service, or legal rights.

Account and synchronized records are retained while your account remains active. When in-app deletion succeeds, the account identity, password credential, sessions, profile, and synchronized account records are deleted from the active database. Account-scoped local information is then cleared from the app.

Operational logs and backups may retain limited information for a defined security and recovery period. Final production retention periods will be published before public launch. Data may be retained longer where law requires it or where needed to resolve fraud, security, or legal claims.

Network traffic uses HTTPS. Passwords are protected with Argon2id hashing, refresh sessions rotate, and mobile refresh tokens use platform secure storage. Local application databases and preferences are not separately encrypted at the application layer. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.

You may use core local features without creating an account, control optional permissions in device settings, sign out, or permanently delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, restrict, object to, export, or complain about processing. Use the support page to make a privacy request.

Namaz Manager is intended for a general religious-productivity audience and is not designed specifically for children. The final store target-audience designation and any age restrictions will be confirmed before public launch. Information may be processed in countries where approved infrastructure providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.
